Auto Rama Twin Drive-In: Opening Weekend will be April 4, 5, and 6.

Spring Dance: Crystals Creations and Dance Gallery sponsoring Spring Dance at EMH on April 26.

Cedar Point Amusement Park: The Gates to Cedar Point will open May 4 at 9:30 am to the Public.

Six Flags Amusement Park: The Gates to Six Flags will open May 3 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Black River Bike Race: Saturday June 21, 2003

Black River Wharf Boat Launch

In conjunction with the Lorain Police Department and the Lorain City Schools, the Port Authority will host the second annual bicycle competition at the Black River Wharf Boat Launch. The race will be a community event of various skill levels and age groups. Prizes and trophies will be awarded in each age/skill category as well as t-shirts for participants. A donation of $5 is requested for each participant to cover costs. The Port is co-sponsoring this event in an effort to get more involved with youth activities at port facilities. Applications may be picked up at the Lorain Port Authority offices or at Lorain City Schools in the Spring.

Fireworks Celebration: July 4 - This is a Port Authority sponsored event. People are encouraged to go early, bring lawn chairs and blankets.
